The call from Singapore… a REFLECTION

As I sat and prayed before Mass, I saw a man come around and pray over a lady. He, then, walked in my direction and I greeted him. He extended his hand and I extended mine only to receive a prayerful blessing myself!  It was so beautiful to receive prayer far away from home. I reciprocated in prayer as the Holy Spirit led. It appeared as if the man basked in God’s presence as he tilted his head backwards with his face gazing up towards Heaven. It was only at the tail end of Mass when I realized the man was a Priest.

I don’t recall much of my prayer, except for asking the Father to continue to extend His love and joy through the man so he would bring many, many, and many more back Home to our Father.  As I reflect back, I now understand why the Holy Spirit led me to pray accordingly.  This precious one is a man after God’s own heart, and his homily revealed how much he yearned for his sheep to have a personal relationship with the Father.

Little did I know that the unexpected, special blessing by this kind and generous Priest would open the doors for me to minister to two confined at hospital later in the morning! We definitely serve a living and loving God! Thank You, Lord!

Father, I continue to pray for the man who is scheduled for gall bladder surgery. Please continue to bring healing, Father God, to both his heart and gall bladder. May you be glorified as they testify of Your healing hand. Father, please continue to heal William, Alloysius’ brother, too! In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Father, I continue to be amazed of the Christian love that unites Your children throughout the world. The lady had said that You brought me all the way from Canada just to pray with them. I, too, believe the same. Only You could do that, Lord. With You, there are no barriers!

God bless,

Melissa – May 22, 2017 (Singapore)
